Will she give in to her baser instincts or will she be the daughter Mama wants her to be? The struggle brings her back to the haunted Wish Woods, where she learns just what kind of animal she can be. "What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.

"Stay away from him, not only is he danger but he's the Master. He will either make you or break you, but the way that Zebastian looks at you is unusual for Wonderland." Sasha said as she let the water trickle down her chocolate legs. "What do you mean?" Vera asked innocently. "Zebastian is one of the men we warned you about, he dangerous, out of control, and more powerful than everyone combined here." Nina said fanning herself. "He's got his sights on you, so he's planning something: either to kill you, or to kidnap you and make you his. Master won't let that happen, especially since he's taken a liking to you." "Not to mention Xephren." Janet said. Vera just frowned. "What should I do?" She asked. "What we do best." Nina said looking at her. "Seduce."

"Bad girls don't give in to idiots like you." his lips twitched. She got up and walked away. Lynn came up to her with a raised brow. "You've got all the inhuman boys after you," she said shaking her head. "This will be interesting." "They can chase all they like, I don't believe in this bullshit." Lynn only laughed. "Boy, oh, boy you are in for a rude awakening. One of these days you're gonna be all pinned against a wall by one of these beasts holding on to your dear soul as they suck the life from your body in all sorts of ways. They're quite the creative ones." "I'd kill to see them try," she said with daring eyes. Lynn snickered. "Oh, you'll see them try, girl."
