Their groaning was louder now that the glass ceased to divide us, and I wildly swung my weapon like a man drowning in a sea of rotten flesh. I tried my best to fend them off flailing wildly, but there were too many. They swarmed in quickly despite their slow and jerky movements. In the next moment, they surrounded me and began to pull at me with their decaying hands. They pulled on my limbs like dogs fighting over old bones. Just as they were about to gnaw the flesh from my body, I let out a yell that would wake the dead.
