However some powers don't mix with others, some powers are opposites so they can never touch unless they are in love. Dan is fire and Phil is Ice, they live in a world where there love for each other could also be the death of each other. The day they realised they loved each other was the best day of both the boys lives, but that happiness was short lived after a horrible accident, that leaves one of them in a state of disrepair that he might never fully recover from.
