An elemental master cannot harm another without reason. An elemental master cannot harm their descendants or close family. Elemental masters must not reveal the source of their power. Blah, blah, blah. Those are the old rules of being an elemental master. Time someone updated these stupid, out of date rules. That's what elemental masters Valosian, Krisoft, Varonias and Sarnasian believe, anyways. They feel that Elemental Masters should have more freedom. But, all sorts of things happen to them as they set out to change the rules of being an elemental master. Will these four friends succeed or will they be shunned for trying to bring in the new and put the old out?

After the defeat of the Overlord, the ninja have settled down and become teachers. But, the Overlord is still out there. With the threat of Nindroids, the ninja have no choice but to don their new suits and become technological warriors. Armed with Technoblades, the ninja stand for their home planet. Or, anyways, that's what should happen. With the team crumbling apart, the ninja just can't seem to band together as brothers and fight the new evil. When Cole is kidnapped, the team must spring into action to rescue him. However, Jay refuses to do so because of tension between him and Cole. Will the team stay together and fight the digital evil or will they crumble under the weight of the problems?
