Going by a Mining Company's (ANOC) Act, the company does its performance appraisal by stepping aside (step down) its general managers every three (3) years to be replaced with fresh ones. Meanwhile, a particular general manager did so well during his tenure that he was given the chance of getting a candidate to compete with the company's candidate for his position that had now been declared vacant slot. But the question was, who would like to step aside from such a lucrative position to be enjoyed by another with all its perks? The incumbent general manager plotted, using the advantage provided him to pick a clueless person on the streets as his candidate in order for him to share the company's salaries with him if the candidate won the general manager position.
