Miles Kane hasn't spoken to Alex Turner since the Arctic Monkey's singer Had broken his heart. It's not until he finds out Alex is about to marry the daughter of a notorious New York mobster that he lets him back into his life with hopes of protecting his friend. Things, unfortunately, don't go the way he planned.

Alex suffers from social anxiety and quite usually experiences panic attacks. Miles, a famous hypnotist, is convinced he can help Alex as long as he cooperates...

Alex doesn't know what happened to him and nothing has been the same since. Everything is terrifying all at once and a hazy blur. If he told anyone they'd think he's out of his mind.

Alex meets a handsome stranger in a club the night before university starts, and the man soon vanishes as quickly as he had appeared. Was it simply a one night stand, or are Alex and the man destined to cross paths again? This is my first full length story, and I apologize for the God awful description.

This story tells you how it would have been if Miles Kane and Alex Turner had been dating through out their career. They were just friends when they meet but then they started to fall for each other. You'll read about their first fight, first time having sex, and how their lives changes once married.

"'Milex is real,'" he read aloud to himself. The singer bellowed with laughter, startling Miles."It kind of is real in a way, ain't it?" He gave a crooked smile, looking at Miles over his sunglasses. Miles hesitated, was he supposed to answer that? "Like, we're bezzies, aren't we? Proper good friendship going on, ain't there?" Miles attempts to set aside the subtle crushes that he has towards Alex, believing it is just a peculiar phase. However, nearly eight years later and after several relationships, Miles isn't coping well with Alex sharing an apartment with him and the feeling certainly haven't simmered down.
