Betrayal follows her, the Angels are against her, and the Devil is on her tail. As Lucifer's Daughter Abbegael must hide her identity from both Heaven and Hell if she is to survive. All she wants is to return home but when Lucifer's plan starts to take shape she realises she is the key to destroying Heaven and she may be the only one who can save it. Razakiel has been the Devil's right hand man ever since the Fall. He despises Lucifer and everything he's done, but when he discovers Abbegael's secret he finally has a chance to get home. Because sacrificing the Devil's daughter could be the one thing to save him and Heaven alike. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trapped within the fiery depths of Hell, her only chance of escape is him; a stranger, the enemy. "I'm not going to hurt you," he growls in my ear, "Neither am I going to hand you over to that Bastard." I flinch at the anger in his voice and confusion rushes through me. "What?" I squeak, attempting to get air into my constricted lungs. He sighs, the warm air brushing against my neck, sending goose bumps skittering across my skin. "I'm not going to tell him you intend to escape. How can I when I plan to do the same thing?" My mind whirls as I attempt to understand what he is saying. He wants to escape? But he is one of Lucifer's most trusted. How does that even happen? He's lying. "I'm not lying. I needed him to trust me or I would never find a way to get out." "You know a way out? Wait. Did you just read my thoughts? How did you just read my thoughts? I thought you were a shield!" Once again his sigh of exasperation leaves goose bumps on my skin and a shiver running down my spine. "I am a shield. It just so happens that I'm a reader too. Yes, that is possible. Obviously. Now can I let you go, or are you going to try and kill me again?" © 2013 by Froggie27. "It all began in a blanketing fog, between a young boy and a strange dog." There is something strange about Alex's new school. Something really wrong with it's students. They whisper about him, make fun of him, and harass him before they ever try to get to know him. Everyone except the Tea Drinkers, that is. They welcome young, naive Alex with open arms. They take him in when everyone else avoided him like the plague. But something seems wrong with them, too. They are almost too nice. Too accepting. And they keep making these strange demands while their tea leaves poor Alex weak, dizzy, and confused. Then there's the strange dog that keeps stalking him--smiling at him like it knows something he doesn't. It comes coupled with a fog that descends into Alex's life, blinding him and stealing away the students around him. Little does Alex know, these people, creatures, and events are all connected -- all working with and against one another. Vying for control and dominance through any means necessary. And, little does Alex know, they all want a piece of him. ... (Rated M for Language) [COMPLETED]

(Sequel to "Unfamiliar Territory") ... "A wicked, new world was revealed from their encounter, filling the boy with pain, guilt, and power." There is something sinister about Alex Foxy's new life. Something really wrong with all of it. His body is not his own. His old family and friends are long forgotten while the new ones are being killed and splintered apart. Nothing left but a scattering of faces he doesn't recognize and an obligation he never truly agreed to. An obligation to be a familiar. To serve a witch to his dying breath. Even if that witch is a teenage girl with a predestined notion to hate him. Even if her mother is an awe-inspiring being of unknown power with a bothersome familiar that threatens to drive away the few remaining shreds of Alex's sanity. And, with what sanity remains, poor Alex has to devote to keeping what he knows a secret. That the people he should see as enemies are really what remains of his new family and friends. How, even as he has to fight them, he has to figure out a way to save them. Hard to do when the people he is hiding the secret from can read his thoughts. Even harder to do when some of those people he lies to are the very same ones he is trying to save. ... (Rated M for Language) [Complete.]
