Elpis, a humble fisherman and women's son, really has no intentions of searching for more than silver coins inside the walls of Euphranor, but when, completely by the accident, the Moirai saw the two happen upon each other, he is drafted into a world that is so far from his own, by a man who's soul is much darker than his own.

When his friend Amir pisses off the rich school bully Atlas by stealing his phone and making him chase him all the way to the skate park tensions naturally rise between the boys and it doesn't exactly help when Akara tries to return the phone but ends up running away with it as well. Caught between pissing off a bully and the school prefect Akara's going to have a lot on his plate this year.

When given the opportunity to serve at the Kings castle, Sunni was more than excited to grasp at the chance. Of course he had he had his doubts and fear laced through him. No matter what, he was driven by determination. He planned to use the money earned to aid the orphanage he was raise in. He was certainly grateful towards the mysterious elderly woman who had given the news about a job in the castle. The job he knew was decent but he didn't expect to meet the powerful dominating king and later on receive his trust and he seems quite attached to Sunni. Sunni didn't predict the kings sudden growing love for him or rather inhuman obsession. Sunni didn't deserve the result of having King Taizan of Dusanma Kingdom to fall for him. He didn't want the love of a ruthless, obsessive and rather harsh King. Sunni later understands that being by the kings side is crucial and he is the only warmth that can melt the Kings stone cold heart.

New school years call for new beginnings. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) for Caleb, his new beginning consists of a constantly horny pale roommate. There is a tall figure sitting calmly on a large gravestone, so dark he appears as a silhouette, his tapered cloak moving in the wind as though suspended in water. Lake walks up to him, made of curiosity, bravery and booze. The tall man stands to tower over him, in his left hand a scythe is raised and the blade glints in the moonlight, darkness reaching out from him like a thick fog. Cold red eyes pin Lake down. "Who disturbs this halfway realm of death? Who dares to approach the harbinger..." But the little human in front of him seems unafraid. His large blue eyes squint as he reaches through the black fog and presses his hand on his chest. "Wow, that's really cool, how do you do that?"
