When a young human femme abused when she was small is discovered by one of the thirteen original primes a new chapter of hope appears for all Cybertronians. Primus allows for her to live with them in her home dimension. She visits others dimensions with a machine Solus Prime created. But when a ancient evil returns, and it ain't Unicron, but an evil so ancient that both Primus and Unicron recognized as their creator's sister. The Queen of Darkness wishes to find her sister's light, the power to control the peace, light and love. The power can only be passed to femmes, and Solus doesn't have it. Starshooter takes up the task at finding the Creator's Light after the Darkness Queen destroys Solus's machine launching Starshooter and her best friend Stormfront into the only dimension she has never visited. The Thirteen, Primus and Unicron can do now is wait, watch, and pray from afar as the light that gave them peace be hunted by the Darkness Queen's followers.

"If anymore explosions come through here, the whole place could be set on fire." "No!" Ratchet snarls, warning the rookie to stay away from the controls. "Jack, Miko, and Rafael are still out there! I have to go back and get them!" Optimus decided to collapse then, his hand sliding off of Shovel's shoulder and a loud clang vibrating the base as he rolled onto his back, groaning in pain. Ratchet had no choice but to also let the unconscious Bulkhead rest on the floor was well, his arms trembling with effort but determination still written on his face. "I'm going back. If I don't return in five minutes, close the Groundbridge." "No." A crackled and strained voice interrupts them, June's head shooting up from inside of Ratchet as Arcee spoke, her blue and pink optics dull as she tried to focus on who she was speaking to. "They . . . aren't there." A heavy vent escapes her. "What do you mean?" Ratchet demands. "Where are they?" "He . . . he took them." Arcee's entire body fell limp as she uttered a few last words. "Megatron . . . he took . . . the kids."

A pod is lunched from Cybertron during the great war. Optimus Prime watches it as it disappears through a space bridge. A single tear falls from his eye as he looks away. Will the pod have a safe landing on a peaceful planet or will it reach the clutches of the decepticons.

When the opportunity arises to infiltrate the Autobots, and receive information that will give the decepticons the upper hand, she doesn't hesitate to do so. But when over in the enemies base relationships are forged, one stronger than all the rest. Will she be able to go through with the mission in order to please her master, or will she be forced to betray her brethren and Lord for the one she believes she loves.

The NEST team gained new arrivals during their mission to revive Optimus Prime. The Elite Guard Blurr (Not the one in Transformers Animated.) Assisted in the mission, using his special ability to easily take down the Decepticons. However, an incident leaves a 7 year old girl without a mother or any other family. Blurr takes it upon himself to sneak her back to the base and try to raise her in secret.
