In the world of Sykerion, year 451, the demon lord was defeated. Thoth, the hero, died at the end of the battle, satisfied that he finally able to die. Hearing a voice though, his expectations of resting in peace has been betrayed, and a few seconds later, he finds that the pains from his wounds as disappeared, and the location around him changed. Opening his eyes, he looks around in his surroundings, and finds himself in a bright, unknown place. After looking at his body, he believes that fate is just toying with him now. He has reincarnated as a female child.

This is the north proper, the very knife edge of civilization. Here monsters stalk the night and outlaws gather. It is a land of singular wonders and crushing horror... All Blacknail the goblin ever wanted was to live a peaceful life in his sewer home, and eat as much as he could shove in his mouth when no one was looking. As the world around him slides into ruin Blacknail will fight to survive, and learn to live with the men and women of the North. However, first he has to get over his crippling fear of trees, and survive in a place where everything considers him to be the perfect size for a quick snack...
