Sevens years down the road has took a different route than Sam thought was possible. From having the worst four years in high school, she can finally say she's happy. Being married to the woman who she thought she'd never have, she's the happiest she's been until now. But, sometimes happiness doesn't last long when something goes wrong. Sam thought she had it bad before, wait until she's faced with an even bigger thing that might just make that "happiness" slip through her hands.

"It's not every day that one can say their hot roommate is also their American History teacher..." Sam's never had an easy life. Whether she's battling the nightmares of her dysfunctional past, attempting to dodge expulsion (for the second time), or trying to outrun her problems, trouble just seems to follow her everywhere. So when her brother introduces her to their new roommate, Megan Adams, Sam immediately senses a storm in the distance.
