The day Astrid hit her head was the day that changed her life. She did crazy things since then that she had control over. It had finally hurt her when she had stabbed her brother. Years before Endrai was conquered, there ruled a good and powerful people with a magic that no one could master or control. Then the Bellumsilvans, a fierce warrior-like tribe jealous of their magic and their lands took over, killed the native people, and destroyed the legacy of the Endraithians. The only survivors were a small band of refugees who fled to the dark and dangerous Forest beyond. Except for the Prince and his baby girl. And they were not going to flee.
