How do you decide what's worth fighting for?
While on a student exchange in Edinburgh, Scotland, writer Josephine Hughes takes a job at Starbucks to help pay her bills. It's a great job; she meets lots of new people and makes friends with her regulars. One in particular, however, has caught her eye.
Louis Davidson is an Edinburgh native, a baker, and a student at the University of Edinburgh. Every morning at precisely 7:20 AM, he comes in and orders the same thing-but it quickly becomes apparent that Lou is not there for the coffee.
Jo struggles with allowing herself to be vulnerable, hiding her name from Lou as a defense mechanism, and Lou pursues her relentlessly, hoping to eventually coax her out of her shell. Soon, however, they realize that Lou has deep-seated issues of his own. As Jo and Lou fight their own battles, they navigate the rough waters of relationship, seeking to answer one simple question:
Is it worth it?
