Brice is coming to visit his cousin, Mitch. As he walks down the road he finds two kids that lead him to a place he wouldn't expect. Seto hangs out with 6-7 year olds. He has created a cardboard box castle. His plan was to make the kids think they're royalty, but the kids switched it around a bit. They treat Seto like he was the prince/princess of the castle, and they the the knights. What happens when Brice is lead to the cardboard castle and meets Seto? Read to find out. Seto is a 16 year old hybrid. He is part cat/sorcerer/human. He lives with his abusive 26 year old brother, Mason. Seto's parents died in a fire when he was eight, making Mason his legal guardian. Mason doesn't drink, but he does smoke. Seto was a cat hybrid so he had amazing reflexes, eyesight, and hearing. Seto goes to the library everyday. Brice is 16 year old human. He is very artistic. He has a happy life, loving parents, a younger brother and an older sister, friends, and a good house he lives in with his family. He goes to the art gallery across from the library Seto goes to. He sees Seto there everyday and watches him read the same books everyday. Brice thinks Seto is unique. He wants them to become friends. Will they become something more?

Seto respawns, not remembering anything of his past life. He respawns in a time where technology rules, but he still loves his good ol' hardback books. Seto, because of his passion, becomes the owner of a nice bookstore, writing stories as a hobby. One day, while Seto is writing his story, one about sorcerers and humans fighting, a blonde walks into his store. A blonde exactly like the one in his story.

Seto has been to hell and back. Dad abusive, and mom gone. Not to mention he is a sorcerer. In the kingdom of ButterSolace, sorcerers are not treated fairly. But will that all change when King Brice falls in love with Seto? Maybe some help wouldn't hurt.

Brice G. Solace's kingdom, lead by his father, has been undergoing a war with the sorcerers for many years. Brice was once again leading his troops into battle, but this time is different. A mysterious purple sorcerer appears, more powerful than any sorcerer Brice has ever encountered. This was going to be interesting.

Seto lives a life of isolation, having only been outside of his house a few times, under the careful watch of his parents. But Seto's mum is killed and he blames himself, so does his father, he cooks the dinner, does the washing, irons all the robes, whilst his father drinks out of depression. He is beaten by his father and tortured with magic, but he never lets his emotions slip. So when he gets sent to public school, he meets someone he can't push out of his mind, but has to or else he will suffer, and starts to finally taste freedom, when everything falls apart.
