Veda finds herself on board of a huge spaceship heading towards a new world. The only escape from boredom is the VR environment that its makers created to simulate the passengers' life on Earth. Vital for the system is that everybody disconnects before sleep sets in. Veda is a rather cynic bookshop owner that is able to exploit the possibilities of the VR to its fullest. Her mentor on board is Rimmer, a stuck-up fighter pilot who takes life much too seriously. Kira is an engineer that is specialised in rocket propulsion and was forced to join the mission involuntarily. She is mentored by the peculiar commander of the ship, Zach, who never shows himself. Taylor and Tate are doctors and identical twins. They leapt at the opportunity of some new adventure and are dedicated to make the life of every male onboard miserable. All except Kira settle in quite nicely and simply continue their work and pleasures as they were before joining the space program. However, when the children on board show a rapid alteration in sleeping patterns in response to the VR, a series of events is set into action that threatens the life of everybody when their dream state forces the ship to alter its course to an unknown destination. Can our group reinstate the ships’ original course and avert catastrophe without killing one another?

Alicia has planned a vacation at South Padre Island with her girlfriend Cassie in forever. But just as they're enjoying a day on the beach, here comes a dark fae to spoil their holiday, except only she can see what he truly is. Alicia has no idea how upside down her world can turn with a chance meeting with one of the dark fae from the royal house of the Denkar. Alicia's always known she's different--that she can recognize the mischievous fae when they show up to "play" with the humans. Only now she's faced with one highly annoyed dark fae and she's certain he knows the truth about her. She can see him, which means her life is forfeit. Add to that, his sister arrives, who wants to play, too. And their mother, the queen of the Denkar, will want Alicia's head, once she learns what Alicia can do. And all because Alicia was attempting to rescue her friend, Cassie, on their beach excursion at South Padre Island, from the wicked fae. Now, Alicia has really gone and done it--and she's thinking she should have let the fae have his fun. Her friend's broken heart would be a lot easier to deal with, than Alicia losing her life. But it is too late for regrets. As soon as she threw the soda at the dark fae's chest, she had declared war on the fae. And he is happy to take up the challenge.

When Cassie Taylor talks, ghosts listen. She wants to heal their souls so they can leave earth. Brooding songwriter Luke Rivers wants to give his recently found daughter a normal home, but he discovers his new house in small town Wisconsin is haunted by a ghost with an attitude. His ghost whisperer has an attitude too—even before someone tries to kill her. He wants conventional; she wants acceptance. No wonder she thinks men are hard and dead people are easy.
