Medusa, Hades and the Underworld Army have been defeated long ago, but they have resurfaced. The Underworld Army seems to be even more powerful than ever before, but talk and move as if they were... robotic. Has the Aurum returned and taken over the Underworld or is a new threat playing puppet master? But the Robotic Underworld Army isn't the only thing to surface, two cloaked figures arrive on the scene. They seem to know much about the robotic army and are aiding Palutena's Army and the Forces of Nature. Are they doing this out of the goodness of their hearts or is there another reason? Two former soldiers and lifelong best friends are sent into Treyarch's system to defeat the hacker in a team deathmatch tournament.
