Taite Jefferson certainly did not expect the world's biggest superstar to be sitting on his living room couch when he woke up the day after his high school graduation. He didn't expect to like him, either. Taite Jefferson was very, very wrong.

Hockey player extraordinaire Cameron Beckett not only has to deal with the pressures of making it into the NHL and graduating high school, but also figuring out his feelings for the boy next door. ***** Cameron Beckett is the ace and co-captain of his hockey team, but he's failing his math class so badly that his coach threatens to bench him if he doesn't improve his grades. He turns to Sam, his neighbor, only to start developing feelings for him that he's not ready to confront. Cameron pulls away, afraid that his sexuality will cost him any chance of being drafted into the NHL. But when Sam needs him the most, Cameron can't be there for him, making him question whether his fear of coming out is actually holding him back.

Leaving his shaky life back in California, Kendall Ross moves to London to find at least a hint of normalcy in his college years. But after pulling a daring stunt on a night out with friends he encounters the gorgeous but confusing Axel Gold. Drawn to the unmistakable fire the other possesses, they both begun a steamy affair full of heat and passion. But with past enemies returning and present threats unfolding, it's a wonder if this could turn into something more or remain a passionate mistake. (Warning. It started with a fortunate mistake It ended in a mistaken fortune. * * * * They get gold if they're lucky. Most of the time, they settle for silver. It's not a question for Damien Jacobs. Who in their right mind would ask a teenager to write a 4000 word essay on the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald anyway? To me, English class was simply the fine art of over analyzing very old pieces of literature. It was usually pretty easy for me to string together some intricate sounding sentences about these old novels. My English teacher loved me for it, but for this particular essay, I was utterly incapable of replicating the excellence of my previous work. All I knew was that Nick Carraway was definitely gay for Gatsby. _________ When two high school boys find themselves being forced into partnership for a class project, things get interesting. With the references to the novel in my story, I am in no way trying to mock or make fun of the novel, because it is one of my favourite books. Also, the reality of Nick Carraway's homosexuality is arguable, I simply used this opinion for the sake of my story and its plot.
