Of course there still may be some mistakes, so I apologize in advance for that.] Soon after rescuing Mabel from her bubble, Weirdmageddon is in full swing and Ford is still in the hands of Bill Cipher. In the heat of the moment, Dipper strikes a deal with Bill, for him over Ford. Ford gets set free and Dipper becomes Bill's prisoner. Things become messy after that. In other words he has finally made a friend. Allthough, when you make one friend you can lose another, and in this case, that friend is mabel. Sadly, the twins are now drifting farther away from each other. This is the perfect chance for someone, or rather something, to make his move and destroy Dipper from the inside out.
