When Gabe dies, Percy is ecstatic. He missed him sometimes, but most of the time, he was happy. The abuse was gone. Well, Sally started seeing other men. So Percy did, too. Not really. In his dreams. But in reality, he was lonely. When Luke is taken by Kronos, it's also when Paul and Sally decide that he should move in. Which Percy wasn't too happy about.
