Humankind has abandoned Earth, leaving behind the devastation of all-out nuclear war and Mutants. The Mutants have a purpose: to preserve humanity and restore the Earth to its former glory. After a century of rest, they will wake, rebuild, and await the return of humankind--that is, if they survive the perils of space, but this is not their story. This is the story of a Mutant that wakes up fifty-three years too early, setting foot onto a feral Earth with still-festering wounds from the war. “Well hey there, at least buy me dinner first.” I could feel Aaron's eyes burning through the back of my head as he stared down at me. Down. Towards his crotch. I was face to crotch with Aaron Cross. --- Life is full of Awkward moments; unfortunately for Blake Miller, her life is just one big Awkward moment. From being named Blake because her parents were expecting a boy, to walking in on her dad "wrestling" with her mother's sister. But when Blake's house gets damaged from a hazardous flood and they tear her house down brick by brick when they find a severe mold infestation, her life is about to pass the level of Awkward when they move in with her mom's current boyfriend and his insufferable son who just so happens to be her school's notorious star player -- and not just in sports. Blake's situation probably wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a history between the two, and she will soon realize that not only will her past reveal itself, but so will the secrets kept hidden around her. [DISCLAIMER: i am aware that wattpad changed the rating to rated R, but that's only because of the excessive amount of swearing from the characters. other than that, this book contains mostly PG-13 material.] [humor #13 - 04/11/15]

*PLEASE READ*: So this note has now been moved to the top of the story. Um, I know if I say don't read most people will casually just read it anyway, but I recommend after chapter 16 you just stop reading till I manage to redo everything. Sure you can read if you want, but hope you enjoy topsy tervy writing hehe... anyway, I shall keep posting anyway just so I can keep track of the story properly and eventually edit it majorly after because this story is suffering from Severe Plot-hole Syndrome (this needs to be a thing) Thanks to everyone who may actually still be interested in this story and heads up for the summary revamp too, because I no longer like it aha XD thanks readers ❤ ❝Beyond the perfect walls lie sinister secrets.❞ Oblivia; Book One in the trilogy.
