She's known for not being that open to people, the only person that she talks to is Dorothea, either than that her servant Hubert. Byleth Eisner is the daughter of the legendary knight Jeralt, his mother died shortly after her birth, only living with his father, she grew up traveling Fódlan becoming a mercenary. Lately she has being dreaming of this young girl with green hair called Sothis. After that his father reminds her of her new job on the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus but surprisingly they find 3 students asking for their help. Kostas directing the bandits tried to attack Edelgard to Byleth stepping in to protect her. She also isn't that open, only to her father.

When Edelgard goes on a mission by herself she stumbles upon bandits who cause her trouble. Until however a man named Byleth helped her and his deeds were soon heard by Reha who makes him a teacher at Edelgard's school. Edelgard however just doesn't seem to trust him too well.
