*Episode One* The series follows Patrick Jane, an independent consultant for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) based in Austin, Texas. Although not an officer of the law, he uses skills from his former career as a successful yet admittedly fraudulent psychic medium to help a team of FBI agents solve murders.

With Lisbon having a relationship with Marcus Pike, Jane is feeling replaced and it's when a sudden proposition comes hurtling toward Teresa that Jane finally voices his thoughts and tells her that he needs her...

Brayson and Alexis don't want to be remembered has the kids of Missy and Patrick Jane. They want to be known for what they want to do, and that doesn't involve crime. They plan on leaving it all, but something happens. An attack on the CBI base has lead to Missy and Patrick missing, or possibly dead. Brayson and Alexis can't let their parents be hurt, so they stay to help find them. They might even learn a little about the Jane's and about themselves. *Note* Do not own Mentalist characters, only the ones I made up.
