A short story. She sits by the window, staring out into the woods. She has it memorized. She stares for hours everyday, wondering what it's like out there. Her parents don't let her out of their sight. At twelve years old her curiosity is blossoming and she discovers a secret which unveils all the reasoning behind her parents decision to keep her locked up.

A young girl raised in the 18th century is left with her aunt when her parents unexpectedly die. Her aunts true self comes out around the girl, not letting anyone else know the evil she possesses. While the girl is cruelly being raised by her evil aunt she tries to run away. After three failed attempts she starts carefully planning a 4th getaway. "This ωιℓℓ be successful she thinks" ...

Charles tells his closest friend Ang (short for Angeline) that he loves her, and she doesn't love him back. After a complicated and painful few months staying in the same town as Ang, Charles decides to join the army. Before leaving Ang kisses Charles. Realizing that he is leaving because of her, she wants him to have a last happy memory in case he dies while at war. Charles does not die in war and comes back with the idea that Ang loves him, and she, once again, has to decide if she is going to spend the rest of her life with him, or deny him of the chance to be with her...
