"Tristan please.." My voice was on the edge of breaking and it was getting hard to swallow the painful lump that formed in my throat. "Whitney.. believe me, you don't want to do this. I-I can't." He stuttered removing my hand which was grasping his as tight as possible. "But why?" A lone tear finally escaped, blurring my eyes and the hope which was left deep inside. "Whitney.. the problem is with me. I am the problem. You don't know how much I am afraid." He stood there cupping my face with both of his large hands with a vulnerable look in his eyes. I bit my lip taking a deep breath and finally regained my voice. "Then, Let me scare you." What happens when two bodies repel each other but their souls attract? Gold and Harry have been the best of friends since as long as they can remember. Gold is a tomboy kind of girl. She is a smart, sassy and self dependent girl. Gold's folks were immigrants but Gold was born in England. Her relationship with her parents is a little complicated. She is a bit of a loner. The person who she is the closest with is Harry. Meanwhile, Harry is quite close to his mother. He secretly loves Gold but he is keeping his feelings to himself as he doesn't want it to affect his friendship with her. When there comes a new character in their lives, it starts to get haywire. Their trust and respect for each other are tested. And they are challenged with the biggest dilemma in their lives.
