Based off the hit anime series Sword Art Online here's my little fan fiction I came up with. (I own none of the content from SAO) When reality becomes too much there is only one way to escape it. The answer is Sword Art Online. A young boy named Josh is a beta tester who decided to escape reality for a little while. Everything is going his way until the game turned into reality and the log out button dissapeared. A game becomes reality. Watch your backs because if your HP hits zero then you die not just in the game but in real life. You've been warned.

What would you do if life were a video game? Set in the year 2022, Sword Art Online (SAO) is a Mass Multiplayer Virtual Online Roleplaying Game (MMVORG), where you put on a helmet, and the surroundings around you evolve into a video game world. Taylor is a small town girl, quiet and shy, who doesn’t interact with her friends in the real life much. Her only means of escape – is Sword Art Online, where she plays as a boy character as a beta-tester. Why? Boys typically play video games more than girls, and Taylor decided that people wouldn’t play much attention to her if she were a guy. But then, things go too far on the public launch of the game. The game creator not only removes Taylor’s mask as a girl, but he also removes the “logout” option, the player’s only means of escape from the real world. Things are real. To Taylor, SAO is exactly like the real world, and she has to learn to face her fears as she makes new friends. But what she fails to realize in time, the most important thing in the game. If your HP dies in SAO, your character dies in the game, thus, ending your life in the real world. And Taylor has to figure out, just how real that is.

Akari Kiyomizu is a thirteen-year old girl who just constantly kept worrying about her friend she calls Kyo, a hardcore gamer. She knows nothing about games, NOTHING at all, in other words she's a noob. Wanting to go to Kyo's world of gaming she swooped the nerve gear on and was instantly teleported in virtual reality. But lady luck wasn't on her side, her first VRMMORPG which was just supposed to be a fun and challenging game became a life and death game.

A Pure Blood beater, driven by the will to live and beat Sword art online along with the help of few friends. Kirito meets another beater in the world of Sword art online and like him she is a solo player. He meets her and assumes , like all the other females in this game, she is helpless. He is soon proved wrong as he learns her levels and special abilities.

Haruko Kurosawa is not exactly noticeable. Her father was a drug addict who left Tokyo to deal with his problems, then came back and divorced her mother when she was eight. Her friends at school seem preoccupied, and once people see the real her, it seems like they clear out. Not in this world. Haruko's only escape seems to be gaming. In the MMORPG world, no one knows the real her. And the newest addition to her collection, "Sword Art Online," is sure to be the best of them all. Or so she thinks.

Nanami Takeba, a 14 years old girl who, too, is trapped in a Virtual Reality Multi-Massive Online Role Playing Game or VRMMORPG called Sword Art Online but she is called Nami. Similar to Kirito, she's a solo player but also a profesional information broker. She is also a sadist who always enjoy men beg on her feet until she met Kirito and Asuna. Nami was also called The Thief of Dreams because she has a weapon called The Dream Eater that can transform into any weapon but it mostly takes the form of a katana and a skill called Dream Stealer. Although, Nami wears a black/yellow gown and always speaks politely which only makes her seem like an innocent girl. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN SWORD ART ONLINE. REKI KAWAHARA DOES NOT ME!

Sword Art Online. Those three words are enough to put Hideko into a happy coma. She was a beta tester and automatically fell in love with the game, despite the warnings her father gave her about not getting too attached.

Mayu Toshiki a 16 year old girl trapped in a virtual VRMMORPG where she is disconnected from the real world and trapped in the game until floor 100 is cleared. There's a catch if you die in the game. You die in real life... Mayu meets a boy named kirito and they seem very equal in personality's, Mayu develops a crush on this boy? How will this all possibly work out?
