Jessica Evans was now alone. Being forced to destroy her pride yet again, she would seek comfort in his voice. With him, she had learned the ways of love in all its purity. With him, she had discovered the peak of mountains she never even imagined stepping foot on. With him, she had soared to fantasy lands only her wildest dreams could hold. Without him, she was nothing. Living in a dungeon of misery, her most honest smile could only be achieved when she looked to the face of her growing baby boy. Inside his eyes lied the innocence and happiness she had only, truly felt when with the man of her dreams. While confidence and bravery shattered like the glass shards that bore into her soul, she hung her head low and did what she was told. For the safety of her son, she would step into the heels and bend her leg around the pole once again. With the fog too heavy to breathe in, she would reach for his hand and he would still take it, never letting go. Though in separate lives, they would always be connected with an indestructible chain. Times would harden and when she thought that continuing on was not a choice, he touched her shoulder and let her know everything would be okay. No woman, man, or foul beast could come in the way of their love and with two souls joining as one, they would fight for each other. With obstacles greater than they had ever faced, they would march onward in the war until they could finally be a peace again. In the quietest, happiest times of their lives, their need for each other would prove itself and never allow them to stray again. Through despair and hardship, he would swear to the God above that he would rescue her and never allow another soul to hurt her again. The things they had seen, the things they had been through together built a cast of steel around them that would send them into eternity with fingers intertwined.
