Book Two of 'The Tales of the Royal Lunatic' It has been scientifically determined that Emilee Kate Willows is most definitely insane. This is Emilee's version of Meet the Parents, only they don't need a lie detector and she's got a ton of people who want to kill her. It's nothing personal, she's just the mate of the vampire prince that everyone hates and killing her is like taking away the prince's soul. Her charm never had a chance. In Selene, 'soul mates' were nothing but a legend told in the form of a fairytale... but then Caspar met Araluen. Lady Araluen Winchester is the sole heir to her father's dynasty as the alpha of a province, however, her life skills are far more geared towards shady dealings and blackmail rather than politics and luxury. The unsavoury gambling habits of her sire cause her to forgo her childhood and attempt to keep her land from financial ruin. Yet, when she believes she finally has a plan to correct the situation, it instead brings her more grief in the form of an insufferable stepmother. Prince Caspar of Selene is not the heir to the throne (thank the moon goddess) but that doesn't stop his parents from forcing numerous responsibilities on his shoulders. On the night of his twentieth birthday, his destiny changes when his twin brother is crowned the official king-in-waiting and he lays eyes on a girl he does not know, but instantly loves. Desperate for answers, Caspar begins his search into the elusive history of his country. ~ A Cinderella-inspired werewolf story.

In a world shrouded by soot and smoke, young Makarria has literally been forbidden to dream... Legend has foretold the demise of Emperor Thedric Guderian at the hands of a sorceress with royal blood, and the Emperor has made it his legacy to stamp out all magic from the Sargothian Empire in favor of primitive coal fired smelters and steam powered machines. When Guderian's minions discover a Dreamwielder on a seaside farmstead, a chain of events forces Guderian's new threat-the young Makarria-to flee from her home and embark upon an epic journey where her path intertwines with that of Princess Taera, her headstrong brother, Prince Caile, and the northman Siegbjorn, who captains a night-flying airship. Dogging their every step is the part-wolf, part-raven sorcerer, Wulfram, and Emperor Guderian, himself, a man who has the ability to stint magic and a vision to create a world where the laws of nature are beholden to men and machines. Only by learning to control the power she wields can Makarria save her newfound companions and stop the Emperor from irreversibly exterminating both the magic in humans and their bond with nature.
