Hanna Brooks is 16 and calls Black Mountain NC her home. Although she is just a simple girl she always imagined herself one day living the life of a cowgirl. Nate Cole is a 18 year old rancher from Indiana but comes down to NC to work at a ranch camp in the summer. When Hanna goes to the local ranch's rodeo there paths cross and their lives change forever.
