Before the rise of Calamity Ganon, Princess Zelda of Hyrule was appointed to travel across the lands. She was to learn about the technologies of the ancient civilizations before her kingdom rose and speak to the leaders of each nation. And along the way, she must bring her trusty friend and guard, Link. But as they travel, with nobody else around to talk to, they grow to find an affection for each other that's deeper than a friendship. But how, in a world governed by politics and potential war, could they find a way to stay together?

The Kingdom of Hyrule is a land where its history is stained in blood. A legend that has lasted throughout time and a world filled with Wisdom, Power, and Courage. A legend of a Hero, and a Princess of Destiny and how their fates must cross in order to stop an evil man and his sought for Power. Now to a time when a King and his lovely daughter Zelda upkeep the throne. A time of peace, a time when evil seemed not to exist. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end.

The war is over and now Zelda is Queen, while Link is Captain of the Hyrulian guard. Time has passed and suitors approach Zelda. When a Prince from a foreign Kingdom demands for Zelda's hand in marriage in order to better strengthen the two Kingdoms, what will Link do?

Since the last defeat of Calamity Ganon, Hyrule has evolved in the last 1,000 years. The prophecy faded into mere legend. People live their lives, always working towards the future. The two chosen heroes, best friends, are as clueless as everyone else. But what happens when the legends are true? What if no one is ready? Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! Zelda, the governor's daughter, is an aspiring author who can only write in coffee shops. Forced by her father to move away from Central, and her beloved coffee shop, she must find a replacement. She finds this in "Hyrule Coffee," owned by a kind young man her own age. When he proposes a deal to her, how will it change both of their lives? Story is the fluffiest I've ever written, but it also has much deeper subjects. It changes drastically near the end. Link is known to be a man of few words. In this case, it is completely true. He has been mute since he was very little, no one knows why. As you can probably expect, other people his age are rather vocal, especially about him not being so. Zelda sees through it. She takes a look further to see who is behind all of the silence, but it doesn't work out how she expected it to. Soon, seventeen-year old Zelda will be forced to marry if she cannot make her decision on her own. She must follow the Royal Law, one which her father strictly enforces. She must chose one suitor to take over the kingdom and rule alongside her. 1. The suitor must come from a royal bloodline. 2. The suitor must be an ally of Hyrule. 3. If the royal does not choose his/her suitor in a time span decided by the King or Queen, they must be forced to marry the King or Queen's ideal suitor. Time quickly running out, Zelda realizes she does not want to marry someone that only cares about inheriting the throne. She wishes to marry for happiness. And if she cannot prove herself and her happiness to her father soon enough, she will be forever forced into a life she does not want to live.
