After a failed suicide attempt, Frank Iero is placed into an induced coma to prevent any further self harm. While he's asleep, he's visited by what he believes is an angel who sings to him. When Frank finally awakens, it becomes his obsession to find who the voice belongs to. [[Trigger Warning! Suicide-- do not take this warning lightly. Suicide is a main theme. Gerard Way meets a new guy in his school, and tries to guide him for the first few days. Of course, it all spirals downhill (and uphill!) from there.

His intense hazel eyes held so many emotions it was hard for Gerard to distinguish whether the boy was doing this out of anger or sadness, "Go away," the words were laced with venom but they also shook with emotion so strong that Gerard wanted to cry as well.

Governmental testing, news vans parked on his lawn, an apathetic boyfriend, and morning sickness seem to all become overwhelming and Frank only has one person he can turn to. His best friend, Mikey. But what happens when Mikey's older brother, Gerard, comes into the picture? Can he help save Frank, in more ways than one?
