League University is a breeding ground for both academic and athletic excellence. It has become home to many, including the small percentage of black students who have created a community amongst themselves on campus. As perfect as the brochures paint the college to be, it is anything but. This fact only rears its ugly head when an event amplifies the rising racial tensions that plague the institution. This leaves various black students not only attempting to navigate their personal lives but the obstacles that arise due to their activism or lack thereof.
