wanderlust [WON-der-luhst] n., a strong, innate desire to rove or travel about One day, Kellin decides to escape his Oregon hometown by taking a one-man trip to California. While there, he doesn’t plan for his car to get stolen by a devious ex. He doesn’t plan on having to follow smart-ass clues to get it back. He doesn’t plan on enlisting the help of a hurricane named Vic Fuentes. And Kellin certainly doesn’t plan on falling in love with him.

Vic is a shy boy who feels he doesn't quite belong. He feels alone in the world. While on the other hand, Kellin is the new boy who can never escape being the centre of attention. After envying each other and admiring from afar, what happens when they meet for the first time at the biggest party of the year? The outcome will change the way they both think forever.

Vic Fuentes never thought anything bad would happen to him. He had a pretty decent life; star-player of the soccer team at his high school, good grades, girls swooning over him. Vic never really took danger precautions seriously. One drunken night, he’s dared to go into the woods alone in the middle of the night while drunk to sleep there. That’s the night when his mindset about danger changed. Kellin Quinn-Bostwick was always the loner boy. His life was as low as someone’s life could get; abusive parents, bad grades, no friends. He was also openly gay. People never tried to tease him or taunt him about it; or about anything, for that matter. Everyone knew Kellin could kill–literally. He watches Vic and his drunken friends near the woods and decides, without thinking, how to ruin their night. He doesn’t know it yet, but Kellin only made Vic’s night better.
