I looked up into those beautiful blue eyes that made me feel like I was walking on water every time I held his gaze. He pulled me in by my hand and held me close. I rested my head on his chest as he stroked my hair trying to comfort me while the tears slide down my face. I looked back up to him and asked, "What now?" His eyes watered and said, "It's not a goodbye. I will always love you." "I know and I will always love you too, but you’re leaving for a long time Lou?" I questioned him, tears springing from eyes again. He cupped my face wiping away a couple tears and pulled me up to his lips. I jolted up from my bed looking at the buzzing alarm clock that blared the radio. 9:30 am. I was sweating and my face was glistening with tears. My covers were thrown on to the floor and my pillows disappeared to the end of my bed. I was late for my shift at Starbucks, crap. But I can't shake off that I keep having the same dream over and over again. It's been a full week now of the same thing. I don't get what it's trying to tell me. That was my last memory of my first love. But I've moved on. I'm with Cameron now. I pushed the dream out of my mind as I slide off the edge of my bed. I stumbled to my closet and got out my uniform. I washed my face, pulled my hair into a pony tail, and grabbed my keys. This was going to be a long day at work.

Maybe it was the beat of the music, or the ambiance of the whole place. Maybe it was spending every Friday night with my friends. Maybe it was dancing with no care in the world.
