A war that shouldn't have begun. A prophecy that was never meant to be fulfilled. And a choice that could break the cycle of fate itself. Neon Wright never believed in legends-until he became part of one. As an agent of Soria, his duty is simple: maintain peace between dimensions. But when a long-forgotten guardian entrusts him with the Stone of Havin, he's thrust into a conflict far greater than himself. The gods' war was supposed to be centuries away. Yet, someone is already pulling the strings, forcing the battle to begin early. With the weight of an ancient prophecy on his shoulders, Neon is ordered not to take sides-only to protect those caught in the crossfire. But as dark forces move unseen, and the lines between gods and mortals blur, Neon will soon realize that neutrality is no longer an option.

A/N: THIS BOOK IS BEING RE-WRITTEN, THE ORIGINAL CHAPTERS WILL STAY POSTED BUT THE NEW VERSION DOES NOT FOLLOW THE SAME STORYLINE. In Hamelin, power sings a deadly tune, and Rowena 'Aster' Craft is caught in its melody. Born under a legacy of forbidden magic, Aster has spent her life hiding in the shadows of Hamelin, a kingdom where secrets fester and power is sung through ancient music. Controlled by her cruel stepmother, the head mage, Aster longs for freedom, unaware her caged magic is both her greatest strength and deadliest curse. When she's thrust into a secret academy where music bends reality, Aster discovers she is the key to an ancient prophecy-one tied to a lost panpipe rumored to command souls and a legacy that could bring Hamelin to its knees. The bastard prince, his smirk a veil for secrets darker than the shadows he walks, becomes an unexpected player in her fate. Drawn to each other by secrets neither can afford to share, they must navigate a world where love is as treacherous as magic. Haunted by visions of the dead and those who fear her power, Aster must unravel the truth of her lineage before the Piper's curse consumes her. In Hamelin, every sacrifice demands a song: Aster must choose if she will be its instrument or its dissonance. #1 Readers Pick of Fantasy Pitch Wars by @Fantasy 🏅 #1 in sword and sorcery 🏅 #1 in epic fantasy 🏅 #2 in magic 🏅 #2 in sacrifice

Vivian never believed in magic. Living a quiet, forgotten life in a lonely corner of the world, she thought herself nothing more than an ordinary girl-until a strange curse began to bloom inside her, drawing her into a realm beyond imagination. Torn from her home and thrust into the heart of the Infinite Planes-a sprawling network of realms stitched together by a fragile, unraveling force called the Threaded Veil-Vivian finds herself a prisoner in a kingdom ruled by whispers and shadows. There, in a palace of shifting mirrors and silent corridors, she hears the name of the king: Kael. A powerful magician, feared and worshipped in equal measure. He is beautiful and untouchable, but deeply fractured-haunted by an ancient curse that no one dares speak of. While the realms crumble and gods begin to stir, their fates entwine in ways neither can understand. As Vivian uncovers the secrets of the Veil and the truth of her curse, she learns that saving Kael might be the key to saving everything. But how do you heal someone who refuses to be saved? The Shattered Veil is a romantic fantasy steeped in mystery, magic, and a love story written in the stars. Perfect for fans of Howl's Moving Castle, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lord of the Rings.

*COMPLETE* "There are no leashes now, no bindings," she says, her voice a dark lullaby in the flickering candlelight, "and it is their sacrifice that gave us this. Nothing can ever repay it. No one can ever take it from us. So now, in this hall, amongst our music, our food, and our merriment, I say to you this: All hail the glorious dead." Foes rise up on either side of the Paragon as it all comes to an end. - This is the final book in the Paragon series. It is my very, very, very strong recommendation you read the preceding three books first. The gods have no pity for humans and their impermanence. Why would they care for lives measured in years, when time marches into millennia for them? The immortals stay in their city. The humans remain in their parts of the world. That is until a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death, forcing her to kill their enemies and increase their power. All immortals keep their backs turned on humanity. Except Samil, the God of Festivals and the Arts. Samil knows he isn't very powerful among his kind. Or important. Or confident. Yet, when he learns that the humans are desperate, he chooses to do a deceptively simple thing: Help them. ___________________________________ @Voyageavecmoi was kind enough to write this review of my book and she described it 100x better than I ever could lol. With her permission, I'm posting it below. Also, check out her book "Flight Risk." It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.

Her entire life, Iliana has heard that those affected by the hands of the gods will live harsh, grand lives. Unfortunately for her, over the past month she has learned exactly how true those stories are. For Kain, that means learning how to deal with what it means to be a hero. Selflessness and bravery are required in equal measure, as well as the will to step into a role he has never wanted to play. As those around him begin to recognize the string of fate at play, unexpected allies arise, and take actions that will shake the world as he knows it. For Iliana, it means navigating life among the Reotakian peerage. Given to the emperor as a plaything, she must learn to hold her tongue, or suffer at the madman's hands. Unfortunately for both of them, games played by the gods are never easy. The measure of life in the eyes of an immortal will always be different than that of a human. And the death of a hero, necessary for the betterment of the world. **Cover by ItalyChick**
