They were both captured by HYDRA at different points in their lives, forgetting about the love they both shared, eventually succumbing to the brain washing of HYDRA Years after waking up out of Cryofreeze, without Bucky by her side but still filled with the memories, Anastasia changes her name and tries to live a normal life before the Winter Soldier comes back into her life.
