This story takes place right after Lena and Stef started dating. They are meeting at Lena's apartment for dinner when there's a thunder and lightening storm that knocks out the power. And this is about what happens in the dark.

With Stef's new job she and Lena have become like two ships in the night. Never home to deal with any house issues it falls on Lena who is also balancing her job at Anchor Beach and Jesus' complicated health issues. And let's not even get started on their love life. Stef and Lena face a traumatic event that changes them and ultimately destroys their marriage. Is love enough to bring them back together or will it take more? NOTE: I do not own the Fosters. This is pretty much just a continuation of my story "Together". Stef and Lena are already dating at the start of this story, and are in high school. (You should read "Together" before you read this.)
