Stephanie Green was a sheltered girl with a secret tragedy. She was innocent, smart, and she had a bright future ahead of her. When she moves on from her quiet suburban life and into the big city to study at one of the most prestigious universities in New York, everything in her life changes. She finds herself drawn to things that she shouldn't be, or more importantly, drawn to people that she shouldn't be. Jerrell Thompson is a gang leader. He sells drugs, he hurts people, he kills people. He grew up in the ghettos of new york. His Dad left him when he was born and his Mother kicked him out of the house as soon as he graduated college. He doesn't know love. He lives in trap houses to make his money and has no respect for anyone. He's the top dog of Downtown New York and he's proud of it. These two have nothing in common, yet as soon as Jerrell lays his eyes on Stephanie, he can't seem to stay away from her. Somehow, she can't seem to either, no matter how dangerous he is.
