Everyday Nekos are sold to humans, forced to wear tight collars just to become some child's kitty cat. Kyrin is a Neko, and by law, she is nothing but an animal. Many years ago, a war was fought between the two races. Humans made them pets, and took everything away from them. What Kyrin seeks is freedom, not a life in a cage at some random pet store. She hates all humans, for every day she is beaten by them. Stuck in a small room in the back, she feels truly alone in the world. On the day she is ment to be put down, a helper at the pet store adopts her. Can this young Neko learn that not all humans are cruel? A Neko is found on the streets of Suna. She is timid and shy, despite the fact that she used to be a Jounin. Soon, she works as a maid and cook for the Subaku siblings. This is her story. (I'm working on the rewrite for this finally, so bear with me. Content-wise, I probably won't change much. Style of writing and pacing will definitely be different, though.)
