Things go awry when a middle-class family tries to take in an orphaned teen. This is a humorous tale of a father's distress as he struggles with his family to do the right thing. In this collection, you will find an eclectic blend of literary, horror and surreal fiction. I thought about categorizing it neatly for the reader, but where would the fun be in that? Life is messy, unpredictable and full of surprises. It is also both absurd and full of hope, as are the stories in this book. There isn't any standard length for flash fiction.
