It can be sweet or unsatisfying depending on the state of the human psyche. The person who wants such a thing will start with a clear head, though will only become more and more detached from the world as they develop their plans. It breaks the human mind and nothing more, shattering it into thousands of pieces and leaving the person carrying out the vendetta a shadow of what they used to be. As my fingers type the words onto the computer screen I have come to the realisation that the vendetta against me is not without justification. Maybe it's time for me to receive judgement for the crimes I have committed in the past. A person who has done wrong in the past is capable of changing if they really put their mind to it. Sometimes the deeds a wrongdoer does is simply out of a want for control, dominance and fame so in that case, it is right to assume that they are too far gone to ever reconnect with society. Some, however, are simply misunderstood and do not realise what their actions have caused others before it is too late (for anyone reading this, I hope you have lived lives free of sin). After the murder of her mother, Astrid is found by the kind-hearted owner of Wammy's. She is soon forced to abandon her old life and live in the orphanage. How will she cope with the struggle of having to betray her father and testify in court? How will she escape the clutches of her father's mafia? Most importantly: How will she manage to help others cope with their tragedies alongside her own problems?

(AN: This will be edited later, depending on the events covered in the story.) A book about a girl, who lost her 'mother' and was taken away into an orphanage. In the orphanage she meets many people and makes a few friends. Despite this, something still seems off. After some eavesdropping, she finds out that the man who owns the orphanage is a mad, cruel man who understands nothing about love. For some reason, he seems to pick on the girl the most. However, she refuses to let this bother her and slightly lightens up the mood in the orphanage. She even manages to befriend the loner of the orphanage. But then, with the help of her new friend, she finds out a terrible secret.
