Tara Cohan is a 16 year old from Texas. When her parents died she had to move from her horse ranch in Texas, to Heartland, a horse ranch in Canada. All she has left is her six year old mare named Sky, her boyfriend Ty, and her three year old daughter Maisie. But can Tara straighten up her life for the sake of her daughter? Or will her life be ended too soon because she can't handle the pressure. (All Heartland CBC characters are present in this story.)
