Elijah Rosen, an introverted seventeen year old with a love for football, sneaks out almost every night to get away from the problems he faces during the day. He feels like his anxiety is taking over his life, and the only place he can go to escape it is the pitch black night right outside his window where he can be alone and let his thoughts run wild. But after he finds Adam Chang sitting at the bottom of an empty pool in the early hours of the morning with puffy red eyes and bruised hands, he begins to find comfort in something other than the dark. Only, Adam has a few problems of his own. And with pressure coming from his family, his friends, his school, and his own mind, Elijah isn't sure how he'll make it through the year. ------- "I think if you weren't here, I wouldn't be okay. I'd..." I trailed off, not wanting to say the words that we both knew were true. "Hey," he said softly, "I'm just glad I'm here, then." He started to let go of me, but I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him like I never had anybody else before. "I'm glad you are too." (featured by FreeTheLGBT: 1/13/2022)

And maybe, just maybe, his crush isn't quite as hopeless, either.

Being the son of the sheriff puts a huge target on Liam's back. Innocent, shy, Liam Rawley is a victim of harassment by some of the older boys in town. Being forced to spend every second with Deputy Brady Hutton had been kinda challenging for Liam, especially when he just wants to spend time with his new friends. Brady hates everyone but he seems to have a soft spot for Liam and does not hate the fact that he is getting paid to do nothing. The problem of having a bodyguard that spends every single second with you is that you might catch feelings for him. Deputy Hutton is not a line that should be crossed.

Finn had finally done it. He had saved enough money to attend the town's all-boys school. After years of bullying from the public school, he was ecstatic to start his first day. Of course, Finn hadn't expected to be 20 minutes late on the first day. Nor did he anticipate being shoved up against lockers by one of the most attractive men he has ever seen. --- Mateo ruled Oakwood Academy, so he wouldn't miss the chance to show the fresh meat just who was in charge there. Mateo was a king, and he wanted to play with his new pawn, nothing wrong with that. Mateo went after Finn because he was new and naive, well, that's what he told himself anyway. "You're lying." Zavier spoke so low that even he barely heard his words himself. "Huh?" He picked up the volume of his voice this time, "You're lying." "No I'm not." "Okay, so if I was to come this close-" Zavier lifted Isaac's face by his chin and brought his face close to his. "- You would feel nothing." Isaac's nerves began to rise a bit, but maybe it was because of the alcohol that he wasn't terrified, "Yes. Exactly that." He agreed. "Even if our lips-" Zaviers lips brushed his, increasing his heart rate rapidly. It didn't last long, but it was enough to send Isaac's mind into a frenzy. "-brushed like this, you wouldn't feel anything." Isaac couldn't trust his voice, so just nodded, being full aware of the fact his cheeks were most definitely glowing red. "You lie a lot Isaac." Zavier whispered against his lips and leaned closer, making it look like he was about to close the gap. Isaac's eyes closed, expecting a pair of lips to meet his, but he was instead met with a bit of breeze from Zavier leaning backwards. A story where two boys find they have more in common than they'd like to think.

"What's wrong?" He asked softly, grabbing Kai's arm and preventing him from running away again. "N-nothing." Kai whispered looking down at his shoes. Nicolas lifted Kai's chin and looked into his black eyes with a soft look. "I know something is wrong. Tell me." He coaxed moving his hand from Kai's chin to cup his cheek instead. "I don't like it when you laugh and smile with Rex" Kai mumbled. "I want you to only smile at me." _____________________________________________ Kai and Nicolas were best friends. They've always been best friends. Everyone around them craved to have a friendship as beautiful as theirs. Nothing could change it. Until something could. Something as simple as feelings.

Blair Silver is the epitome of teenage cool. He's something straight out of a movie. He doesn't even seem to be on the same plane as everybody else: he's untouchable. There's nothing particularly special about Theodore Rose. He's a clumsy high school boy who adores reading. He's considered to be very prone to getting hurt- physically, due to his clumsiness, and emotionally, due to his love of books. Blair Silver comes with a promise. One that very few are willing to accept. Two additional bonus chapters available on the Lacey Grace Library.
