Is it still considered a backstory if the protagonist doesn't exist? Companion story to "Reset".

I have an Idea for an Undertale AU. And apparently, it's a good idea? So here, have a book. --- Long ago, two races ruled the earth. But when a plague of corruption swept through one species, causing a half of their population to attack the humans, the humans thought it safer to banish all the monsters underground. Now, the Underground is a Battleground. The battleground of the Pure and Corrupt armies. This Is UnderCorrupt. -- COMPLETED!

*FEATURED STORY* As Judge for King Asgore Dreemurr, Sans has seen a lot of strange stuff. But when he wakes up with the feeling that something is completely wrong, he decides it's time to investigate with the only monster who could know what was happening: Royal Scientist W.D. Gaster.

The second part of the fanfic of Flowerfell: Overgrowth. I did not make the first part, and the second part has as of now not been viewed by the creator of the AU of Undertale or by the writer of Overgrowth, part 1. ...I'm Undertale trash. This is basically going to be the story of Undertale retold as the Underfell version. I'm sure something like this exists already...but whatever. The story is told from Frisk's point of view, and it's the Pacifist version because Genocide scares me. Anyways I hope you like it!
