Gerard is a talented magician, responsible for much of the success of the famous Envision Destiny cruise ship. He's also one of those people. You know, one of those people who just seem to take up all the space they come across with their arrogance and confidence. You wouldn't wanna touch their personality with a 10-foot pole, but still people admire them. That is beyond Frank. Working behind the cruise ship bars and seeing Gerard pretty much every day, he can't understand what's so great about him. Besides, everybody else doesn't have to deal with his snide remarks and rude comments. Because if there's one thing Gerard seems to love, it's the act of constantly pestering Frank. "There's a reason we are white and pure, and they are black and dirty. There's a reason they stain our skin. That we are shamed if others see those stains. They're bad people, Frank. They're disgusting."

Countless psychiatrists and doctors have attempted to break into Gerard's obsessive and disassociated world, tried to rationalise his behaviour and straighten out his distorted image of the universe. But all Gerard wants in life was to be high enough to touch the stars- and to understand why in the world his English teacher has the ability to make him feel like he's already up in the sky.

What if you could hear them? The thoughts they deigned not reasonable enough to say out loud, the things not suitable for even a giggly teenage gossip conversation. Would it be a blessing or a curse? Troye, the unlucky teenager bestowed with this 'gift', thinks of it as a curse, with good reason. Do you know how hard it is to keep a relationship with someone when you know exactly what they think of you? Impossible. It's impossible. Or at least that's what Troye thinks, considering he's given up on even trying to make it work. He's different, people shun different. People hate different. And it's better to go under the radar, to be nothing, than to be hated. Right? Tyler, on the other hand, has taken a different approach to a similar problem. No, he can't 'read minds', but he does have a part of himself he doesn't want a soul to know about. He's quarterback, every girl's dream guy, an academic mastermind, and he's also gay. He's seen how different kids get treated, hell, he's been the one to treat them that way before. Why on Earth would he ever wish that on himself? No, it's easier to hide, to be someone you're not, than to be hated. Right?

The sex industry was a dangerous place, everyone knew that. Sure, it had its perks, but for glamour model Ryan Ross, the only perk was being asked to partake in a photoshoot with gorgeous pornstar Brendon Urie, a man he both hated and admired. That single photoshoot might just have been the detonation that started everything: the lies, the affairs, the heartbreak, the scheming - in order to stay sane, you had to keep your hands to yourself. And for someone like Brendon, it would be the hardest thing he'd ever had to do. Because when you fall, you bring everyone else down with you. "How can you be okay with yourself knowing that you caused all...this?" "I'm never okay with myself, Ryan. Ever." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do not read this unless you have read the main fic and prologue first! Main fic, prologue, then epilogue. In that order. 20 years later and there was still so much that was left unsaid. Until now.

Do not read this unless you have read the main fic first! Everything will make more sense that way. Also, make sure you read this before you read the epilogue. Trust me, everything will make more sense if you read these in that order. Zero reflects on their life and memories before that fateful day.
