An Au of my other Fanfic Dragon Heir. It happened one night during a Dragon Raid. A dragon with scales as dark as the night finds a young human hatchling being bullied by his fellow villagers. The dragon takes the child from the village and decides to raise him as his own. Toothless is older than Hiccup in this fanfic, Hiccup is around 8 years old to start. Toothless does have a female night fury named Raven as a mate.

Arrow has lived all her life with dragons, on a secluded island that provides her with her basic needs, and only one memory, which she calls a nightmare, that happened when she was young. Arrow is completely shielded from the real world, so when Hiccup discovers her small island, comes to explore it, and disrupts the peace, what's going to happen? After the big surprise of finding his dad, Stoick asks something of Hiccup. Hiccup being Hiccup, doesn't know what to do. Astrid's dreams continue, and what happens when Astrid accidentally spills the dreams to Ruffnut? And being out of school leads to many things. Such as a manipulator, four-wheeling in mud, college, and- a dog? Follow the adventure after another part of their life adventure is finished and follow how everyone reacts. People find many things, such as true love and friends to the end. One finds what is most important to her. But nothing is easy. But it is all about starting over. After discovering the cause of the dragon raids in the Archipelago, Hiccup and Toothless slay the Red Death, but not before the young Haddock promises Astrid that he'll return one day stronger than ever before. It would take fifteen years for the young dragon rider to return, for he has been forged into a man, in a land called Persia, where he learns how to fight, lead armies/people, learn politics and other necessary skills. But during his time away from Berk, Hiccup makes powerful allies and enemies. An ancient evil is once again reawakened; demons called the Djinn. The Djinn have taken both man and dragons to increase their ranks to create an untouchable dark army, their leader Ghul, thirst for vengeance and darkness has consumed his reason, sense and conscience. Now Hiccup and a group of young men and women called 'The Inquisitors' are tasked to end the Djinn plague as it makes its way to the North... The Archipelago. Hiccup along with the Inquisitors and half of the imperial Persian army travel North, they must stop the Djinn in their tracks before they lay waste to humanity.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, the son of the chief of Berk Stoick the vast. He was considered the runt, weakling.... failure of the village. But when the village finds out that Hiccup had befriended a dragon... a beast... they took matters into their own hands and gave him a punishment, one that they all would regret when it was uplifted but one that changed him for the best.
