At 13, you hear a voice that you are told is nothing but a dream, at 14 you've become nothing but a puppet in the hands of a puppet master. At age 15 he's gone, and you are left with nothing. In the present, now 19, executive Chuuya Nakahara is given responsibility of you, but when he takes you on a mission and you don't react the way he needs you to, he starts to realize something is terribly wrong with you...he just doesn't know what. Only meeting you once in the past, what will happen when he starts piecing it all together? How will he react when he starts to care more about you than he should? What strings will he have to play to free you from your past? When a group of survivors gets stranded by a vehicle malfunction, Trinity decides to guide them to safety. Rediscovering her sense of humor was the last thing she ever expected, but it just might be her best defense in keeping her humanity, especially on a zombie-infested road trip with more bad luck than potholes. But time is running out as the third wave of the deadly outbreak rapidly spreads. All she wants is to get by and find some pigeons or a fat rat - anything without a name she can eat before she starves to death in What's-Left-of-Los-Angeles, California. Because I don't care what you say, she's NOT eating humans. It's gross. Levon's weird and has a funny voice. Or maybe it just sounds funny when he hears it. Everyone's voice is funny when they hear it recorded, right? Anyway, he's like one of the only people who hasn't turned into a zombie since the outbreak, and even he has no idea how that happened. He thinks it's gross to eat people too. But he also thinks it's gross to eat pigeons and rats, so there's that. And now that they've found each other in the wasteland, Levon's plan is to carry Eve with him across the country to the army shelter in New York that totally exists and will save them both. Eve's plan is to keep her eyes from rolling into her skull every time Levon opens his mouth.
