MS shrugged his shoulders. " Wow, looks like superheroes ARE still human. " " What's that supposed to mean?" " C'mon...blackmail? Stealing information? Giving me no choice but to agree? Sounds like something Banshee would do. Don't you think? " I teased. MS's eyes seemed to light up instantly. "So... is that a yes?" "Gosh your slow... yes, it is." I said, rolling my eyes. "But you have to promise to honor our deal." "You do recall that I'm the good guy right?" This time, it was MS's turn to tease me. "Honor is what we're all about." With that, a bolt of lightning blinded me temporarily. Once I regained my sight, I found my room empty. Mercury Strike was gone. Superheroes and their dramatic exits. I thought to myself, laying down on my bed. 'Jupiter,' I thought. ' What the heck have you gotten yourself into...'
