Kellin Quinn spends most of his time in Ash Brooks Hospital, being treated for his health issues. Vic Fuentes is a nurse in training who needs 2000 hours of volunteer work at a hospital. Just so happens, that hospital is Ash Brooks Hospital.

At the age of fifteen I was given the news that I would be lucky to graduate highschool, and as of right now that seemed like a dream. Kellin knew his death was slowly approaching, all he ever wanted was to have a chance to be normal, and as of now it seemed his only chance would be to be enrolled in highschool. Kellin never planned on falling in love with Vic Fuentes, he never planned on causing him so much pain, and he never meant to hurt everyone around him, but in the end its all inevitable when your cursed with cancer.

Vic Fuentes craved an escape from hell's greatest gift to him, his parents. He turned to the dark world of drugs in the hope of finding a distraction from his life.
