Ember and Eden are identical twins and best friends. That is until the day Eden unexpectedly vanishes. When Eden comes back a year later, she is quiet and unapproachable, a total opposite from her happy-go-lucky personality. Everybody, including Ember, believe that Eden had run away but that isn't the case. Eden had been kidnapped by an evil faery queen and somehow managed to escape. Eden hopes that's the last she sees of the fey. Eden's hopes are soon crushed when the fey take their parents. The only way for Eden and Ember to save their parents is to put aside their differences and work together, trust some cute half-breeds, trek through Feyland and defeat Ellaray, the faery queen.
