Because Skylar Grey has never stopped fighting. And Vivian Vox has never learned how to let go. In the end, the question isn't whether they love each other. Two years lost to sleep. One person who never let go. When Valerie wakes from a coma, nothing is the same-not her body, not the world, and definitely not the people she once called hers. The boy she loved is now someone else's. Her parents barely look her in the eye. And she can't remember the last time she felt whole. But Sienna remembers everything. Valerie's best friend's older sister-quiet, steady, and fiercely devoted-was the one who stayed. Through every season. Every silent birthday. Every tear that never fell. Sienna held on when everyone else let go. Now awake, Valerie must learn how to live again. But as memories resurface and emotions blur, she begins to see the truth behind Sienna's eyes-the longing, the pain, the love she never expected. This is a story about the time we lose, the people we find, and the quiet love that waits, even in the dark.

The Queen didn't rush her. She simply stood, close enough that the assistant felt her attention like a hand tightening around her throat. "You keep saying he's dangerous," the Queen said calmly. "It doesn't scare me." Her fingers closed around the assistant's wrist, pressing it flat against the desk. "Do you know what he does?" "I... this is a mistake," the assistant whispered, trembling. "A mistake is thinking your body lies to me," the Queen said. Her grip tightened command, not pain. "Look at you," she continued. "Shaking. Pulse frantic. Mouth opening like you're about to beg." "I belong to him," the assistant stammered. "No," the Queen said softly. "You were assigned to him." Her free hand moved to the assistant's throat not choking, just claiming. "Men like him confuse ownership with fear. I don't." Her thumb pressed. The assistant gasped. "I don't take what doesn't respond. And you-" Her lips brushed the ear. "-are responding beautifully." "I can't... if he finds out-" "He will. Eventually," the Queen interrupted. Her fingers moved lower. "That you weren't stolen. That you walked." She kissed her hard, claiming, silencing protest. Dominance. Erasing the shadow of him. "You're not innocent," the Queen murmured. "You're starving. I don't save women like you. I ruin them for every cage they've ever known." "Tell me to stop," she said. Stop. The word hovered. It never came. The Queen smiled slow, victorious. "Once I touch you, he doesn't get you back. Not loyalty. Not fear. Not nights. You don't belong to me. But you will never belong to him again." The door stayed closed. The assistant let herself fall.

One reckless night. One impossible boss. One contract that could ruin everything. Alexis Carter is drowning. Between unpaid hospital bills, long shifts, and the crushing pressure of keeping her mother alive, the last thing she needs is a distraction-especially one in the form of a devastatingly beautiful stranger she meets at a club and can't resist for one unforgettable night. By morning, that stranger turns out to be Robin Knight - the cold, powerful CEO of the tech company where Alexis has just landed a paid internship. Robin is everything Alexis should avoid: wealthy, untouchable, dangerously controlled... and completely off-limits. But beneath Robin's polished image is a secret she can never afford to let the world see. A secret that could destroy her family's legacy, her carefully built empire, and the future her mother has spent a lifetime protecting. When the tension between them becomes impossible to ignore, Robin offers Alexis a deal: One month. One contract. Three wishes in exchange for complete submission. For Alexis, it should be simple. She needs the money. Robin can provide it. No emotions. No complications. No kissing. But the deeper Alexis falls into Robin's world of control, temptation, and forbidden desire, the harder it becomes to remember where the rules end-and where real feelings begin. Because some contracts are never just business. And some women are far too dangerous to love. In a city of glass towers, secrets, and power, Alexis and Robin are about to risk everything for a love neither of them can survive untouched by.
